Every question you’d ask at the dock. Answered before you leave the driveway.
Finn is TrueTide’s fishing captain. He reads your spot’s corrected tide, the wind, the pressure, and what you’ve caught there before — then gives it to you straight. He’s not a chatbot with a boat sticker. He’s the correction engine with a voice.
Your spot’s corrected tide
Not the station’s opinion — the wind-corrected curve for the water you actually fish, confidence band included.
The weather that matters
Wind speed, direction, fetch, and pressure — what’s moving water now and what the next 48 hours will do to it.
Your history there
Log a catch and Finn stamps the conditions. Over time he learns what your spot produces on which water.
When to say nothing
No data, no answer. Finn cites what he’s working from and flags thin coverage instead of improvising.
Finn doesn’t guess.
When the conditions are junk, he says stay home — even though telling you to go would make the app look more useful. When the confidence band is wide, he says so. When he doesn’t know your water well enough yet, he tells you that too. The one thing he’ll never do is dress up a coin flip as a plan.
